The Zookeeper‘s Wife (Movie)

Poland 1939: the country is occupied by the Nazis. Antonina and Dr. Jan Zabinski run the Warsaw Zoo, which was used under the occupation to raise pigs as food for the German army. But along with the waste from the ghetto, which serves as food for the animals, Jan manages to smuggle Jews out of the ghetto on every transport. In this way they managed to save the lives of around 300 Jews, at great risk to their lives. A true story of warmth, compassion and courage.

Schindler's List (Movie)

A masterpiece that won 7 Oscars! Oskar Schindler, member of the NSDAP, womanizer and war profiteer initially only wants to make money the easy way. But in view of the crimes that occur around him every day, he finally remembers his human obligations. To save over 1,100 Jews, he risks his life and ends up losing everything he owns. But because of his contribution, hundreds have survived one of the darkest chapters in history.
