Background to current needs!
-
Over 1,200 Israelis were brutally murdered by Hamas, more than 900 fell in the war, leaving behind widows and orphans. This loss will affect those left behind for many years to come — not only emotionally and psychologically, but also in very real ways concerning livelihood and income. Comprehensive support that addresses all of these areas is urgently needed.
-
Hundreds of thousands of people who were evacuated for a long period have now returned to their homes and need assistance to rebuild their lives.
-
Many soldiers who were deployed immediately after the massacre, participants of the Nova festival, and residents of the affected communities are psychologically traumatized by the horrors they witnessed. The same applies to soldiers who fought for months against the cruel methods of Hamas terrorists and/or were wounded. All of them require long-term therapeutic care.
-
The ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon remains fragile, as Hamas and Hezbollah are still unwilling to surrender and lay down their weapons.

Support the People in Israel Who Were Most Affected by October 7, 2023.
Thank you very much for your valuable contribution!
With it, you are aiding the work of ARC to ISRAEL, but above all the people affected in Israel. We have established partnerships with specialized organizations on the ground, and together we support those most impacted (widows, orphans, and the traumatized) to rebuild their lives after the losses and trauma of October 7.
How wonderful that you are helping make this possible! A thousand thanks on behalf of the recipients!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Your Brigitte Chaya and Harald
